All eyes were on performers, Beyoncé and, North Philadelphia native, Meek Mill, for day one of Made in America. The anticipation grew when Meek Mill performed his hit song “Dreams and Nightmares”.
The crowd was surprised with a special appearance from Meek Mill’s girlfriend, Nicki Minaj. The duo performed, “All Eyes on You”, which debuted at #1 for urban radio.
As 10:30 p.m. approached, individuals barged their way to the front to witness Beyoncé’s performance.
Beyoncé performed hits from, “Say My Name” to her newest track “7/11”, which the audience sung word for word.
Day two included performers: Fabulous, Future, Big Sean, and Dreamville artists Bas, Omen Coz and J.Cole and the headlining act The Weekend performed as well.
If I had to pick which day was better, the second day would be my choice with Future being my favorite performer.
Future didn’t do the typical Dirty Sprite 2 set that individuals believed he would do. Future did a collection of songs from previous mixtapes leading up to DS2, including “Lay Up (Beast Mode)”, “Monster (Monster)”, “March Madness” and a few tracks from 2011.
